Find Out What Really Sinking Your Diet

Beware! “Healthy-looking” come-ons and attractive packaging can unconsciously get you eating and drinking more than you think you should. Here’s what to watch out for.

So you want to lose weight but do you take time to really read the labels? These days, you’ll find cans of soda or bottled tea or juices meant to serve two or three, not just one; or “family-size” packs that have you eating the whole bag yourself.

We’re not saying you should avoid these products like you do shoulder pads and high hair. But a little consumer vigilance on your part can help make sure you don’t wreck your diet with these snacks and condiments.

TIPS:

Ø The food will always be there:

“But while this new, healthy you are here, it won’t hurt to let go of the chips for a while.”

Ø Look at exercise as fun:

“Don’t be insulted when someone suggested that you go the gym. It’s something you can enjoy.”

Ø Acknowledge it:

“Tell yourself ‘I need to lose weight.’ Then embrace the support you’ll get from your family and friends.”

Eat more fruits and green leafy vegetables to nourish you body. Leafy vegetables are low in calories and fat but are high in fiber, which keeps you light but satisfied. Fruits have soluble fiber, which makes food digest slower and lowers your cholesterol. Try to pick water-based fruits like watermelon, melon, pear and apple to make you feel fuller but keep the calories low.

What Do You Absolutely Love Being a Woman?

The freedom to show their emotions. I believe this is the source of our strength-if we cannot freely express ourselves, we will be forced to take on a facade that ultimately becomes the source of their weakness.

As a woman, they love that they don’t have any society pressure to become president of some hoity-toity corporation, marry a trophy wife and afford a fully furnished home with 2.5 kids and a dog. I love that our gender is still being constantly defined, and how that process of definition is really up to the woman that and make up.

The freedom to show their emotions. I believe this is the source of our strength-if we cannot freely express ourselves, we will be forced to take on a façade that ultimately becomes the source of their weakness.

The challenges of making it in a man’s world. The ability to handle multiple tasks, having less facial hair, and …men, clothes, multiple orgasms stilettos!

That they have PMS to blame for their mood swing an emotional outburst. They love how we have infinitely more fashion options than men and how we have the ability to drive men with just one look.

Having a women’s body-a naked body is a sight to behold, its beautiful! But a man’s body? They’re pretty scary naked!

Having a wider scope of emotions makes them more instinctive. They can do anything I set my mind on yet not be embarrassed or afraid to ask for help if I need it. They love that they can be strong, smart, be playful, have long hair and get away with I. getting away with murder just by smiling.

That they can be one of the boy’s even if they’re completing opposite! They can act like a kid, laugh and cry unabashedly without looking like a fool. And of course, fashion. For being able to use my femininity to get what I want while at the same time being pampered and pursued.

That charm that’s innate in every woman. Its’ like having instant power over men. Beauty and strength bottled into one body-that’s woman. The bond women share-the bond between girlfriends, mothers, and daughters, sister and how men are at our beck and call.

The innate ability to be anything they want to be. The freedom! They can be strong, vulnerable, stoic or emotional. They can wear many masks and don many hats. It’s all part and parcel of being a woman! They have so much power and if used properly it can enable us to achieve so much!

Rudyard Kipling once said. “The female of the species is more deadly than men…” I agree!

Have Make-up Sex without the Break-up, How to do it?

There’s no sexual high as amazing as the passionate, emotionally charged lovemaking you have after a big row. But it is possible to recreate those feelings without tempers flaring. There probably isn’t a woman anywhere who hasn’t the high of break- up’ sex.
You’ve just had a screaming row with your boyfriend who has left you shaken, hoarse and tearful. After the argument, you both say sorry and, before you know it, a comforting cuddle turns into a passionate kiss, which, in turn, leads to fantastic, loving sex. You have an orgasm so intense that, as you lie there afterwards, sexually satisfied and more in love than ever, a voice at the back of your mind saying, ‘wish it could be like that every time.’ So, a week later, you pick another fight- it’s traumatic but you know what it will lead to will be so delicious, you can’t resist.
To get the kind of sex you want, you need to recreate the emotional intensity that, until now, you’ve only achieved after confrontation. It is possible, says psycho sexual therapist Paula Hall of Relate, a relationship counseling service, but you have to do your emotional homework first. “You need to bring out protective, passionate feelings in each other. Make-up sex is about reinforcing the fact that you’re in love, but there are other ways to do that.”

One of the attractions of post-argument sex is the risk factor: Emotions are high and you both feel exposed and vulnerable. Capture these butterflies-in- your- tummy by sharing fantastic and erotic talk. “Fantasies are, by definition, thrilling. By sharing them, we can live on the edge of our sexual boundaries without crossing them and hurting our partner.
And, if you’re still feeling there’s certain edge lacking, have fun with the pillow fight- it’s physically harm. If a pillow fight doesn’t appeal to you, gets your adrenalin high by renting a scary video or going wall climbing. No, really. Anything that increases your adrenalin levels will lead to great sex.
The way you make you love is as important as the mood you’re in. “Post-argument sex is very different from day-to-day’ lovemaking,’ “It’s hungrier, more urgent and original. We’re using our bodies to express what we can’t say and undo the words we did. So kisses tend to be deeper, there’s more skin-to-skin contact and we use our entire bodies to make love to each other.”

Child Safety:
Beyond Injury: Preventing Common Causes of Infant Morality
National Statistics Office was indicated that infant mortality rates in the Philippines involve 35 deaths per 1,000 live births. Here are the lists of common causes of infants’ death during their first months of life:
Perinatal Conditions
This is the period around childbirth, especially the five months before and one month after birth. Most infant deaths result from the following:
·         Poor maternal health and nutrition
·         Insufficient care during pregnancy and delivery
·         Inadequate care for the newborn baby
·         Infections
·         Birth injury
·         Aspiration syndromes
·         Problems relating to premature births and congenital heart diseases
“It is crucial that the risk of infection on babies is prevented through a mother’s regular pre-natal checkups and good nutrition’s.”

Pneumonia
This can be prevented by keeping baby in an environment that is neither too cold nor hot, and by avoiding contact with people who have respiratory infections. “Prevent overcrowding in the house and have your baby immunized with the pneumococcal vaccine.
Stomach and Intestinal Inflammation
Characterized by inflammation of the stomach lining of the intestines, gastroenteritis carries other symptoms such as headache, nausea, virus and diarrhea. Diarrhea which disables absorption of nutrients and leads to dehydration is known to be a major cause of infant mortality worldwide. If a baby bottled-feed, make sure to do antiseptic preparation of milk and other feeding paraphernalia.
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
This phenomenon of seemingly healthy infants’ unexplained deaths that is associated with sleep has puzzled doctors and researchers in previous years. The risk can be prevented by letting baby sleep in the lying on back position to avoid suffocation. Moreover, let baby sleep on a firm matters, not on a pillow or any soft surface.
